ForestRe, as a specialist forestry insurance intermediary, has full support and capacity from six Lloyds’ Syndicates. The Lloyd’s Paper enables ForestRe to issue A+ rated insurance policies and in some countries to operate as a direct insurer.

All Lloyd's syndicates benefit from Lloyd's central resources, including the Lloyd's brand, its network of global licences and the Central Fund. The Central Fund is available at the discretion of the Council of Lloyd's to meet any valid claim that cannot be met by the resources of any member. As all Lloyd's policies are ultimately backed by this common security, a single market rating can be applied.

Clients receive a Lloyd’s policy document: Credit rating of Lloyd's is A+ (see attached Lloyd's fact sheet) if as a direct insurance. Otherwise a Lloyd’s reinsurance policy is issued to a local insurance carrier.
